Warhammer 40,000 fans can now bring justice to the game with the release of free rules for the Adeptus Arbites. You can find them here!

Games Workshop has made available the full Boarding Actions rules for the Agents of the Imperium in the Arks of Omen: The Lion set, which can be pre-ordered this weekend, along with their new Boarding Patrol.

The Armies of the Imperium download has also been updated with the three new Arbites datasheets, which include the Exaction Squad, Vigilant Squad, and Subductor Squads.

All three squads can be used for Boarding Actions, thanks to their shotguns, shock mauls, and carapace armor. The Subductors are particularly well-suited to this type of gameplay, as their assault shields provide a very respectable 3+ Save characteristic and a defensive Shield Line ability.

Each squad’s Proctor can use their voice as a weapon, which can intimidate their enemies and cause them to lose their aim. This is thanks to the regal nuncio aquila that floats beside them. These new rules come just in time for the updates to Warhammer 40,000 that are set to be released soon.

Building armies will be much simpler in the new edition, and players will be able to take a certain number of units with the AGENTS OF THE IMPERIUM keyword, depending on the battle size. This means that players can add these units to their force with no questions asked, making it easier to dispense some justice.

Imperial Knights also previously used the AGENTS OF THE IMPERIUM keyword, but they now have their own rules for inclusion, which means they won’t use up one of the precious Agent slots. These models won’t benefit from army detachment rules or have access to any enhancements. A full faction preview will be available in the coming months.

The Exaction Squads can be pre-ordered soon, and more information can be found on the Warhammer Community website or by signing up to their newsletter.
