The Cthonian Prospect represents a resource extraction team deployed by the Cthonian Mining Guilds, hardy Kin who fight to secure vital ore and relics for their Ancestor Cores.
What begins as an industrial mission often becomes a battle for survival, and these expeditions bring enough firepower to rival a small army.
Leading the expedition is a Brôkhyr Iron-master, accompanied by an Ironkin Assistant and three E-COGs (cybernetic mining drones). The Iron-master acts as a battlefield engineer and commander, able to repair vehicles, enhance nearby units, and unleash powerful ranged attacks from his gravitic harness.
Supporting him are three Brôkhyr Thunderkyn, heavy gunners equipped with formidable ranged weapons like graviton blast cannons, bolt cannons, or SP conversion beamers. These Kin serve as Heavy Support, delivering sustained firepower and anchoring the line.
At the heart of the force are 10 Cthonian Beserks, close-combat monsters armed with heavy plasma axes, concussion mauls, and plasma blades. They function as Elites, perfectly suited for smashing through enemy lines or defending key objectives.
Providing mobile fire support is the Kapricus Defender, a newly introduced Votann vehicle armed with a heavy weapon turret. It can alternatively be built as a Kapricus Carrier, a transport variant capable of ferrying Kin safely across the battlefield.
Each model is laden with industrial details like reinforced armour plates, servo limbs, and mechanical equipment that reflect the Leagues’ fusion of technology and tradition.
