What armies to paint with Runelord Brass

These factions have a lot of metallic elements in their soldiers, tanks and machinery, and Runelord Brass is an excellent paint to bring out the details on those elements.

  • Imperial Guard: Imperial Guard armies in the Warhammer 40K universe are known for their heavy use of tanks and artillery, as well as large numbers of infantry soldiers. Runelord Brass is a perfect paint to use for highlighting the metallic elements of their armor, guns and machinery.
  • Adeptus Mechanicus: Adeptus Mechanicus armies are often heavily mechanized and also have a focus on machinery and technology. Runelord Brass would be an ideal choice for painting the intricate metallic details on their vehicles, such as the gears and machinery on the tanks, and the intricate patterns and symbols on their armor.
  • Space Marines: Space Marines are one of the most iconic factions in the Warhammer 40K universe. They are known for their heavy power armor and powerful weaponry, and Runelord Brass is a great paint to use for highlighting the armor and other metallic elements of their models. The paint will bring the shine and metallic look to the Space Marine iconic elements like purity seals, badges and more.

Runelord Brass Colour Schemes & Combinations

Based on the principles of color theory, which include complimentary and split-complementary colors, analogous hues, and how to balance a composition with multiple colors, it was decided to list these particular paints.

  • White Scar: White Scar is a pure white paint that can be used to create highlights on the metallic elements painted with Runelord Brass. The stark contrast between the white and the brass creates a striking visual effect that can help bring out the details of the metallic parts and balance the overall composition of the miniature.
  • Retributor Armour: Retributor Armour is a bright, shiny bronze color that can complement Runelord Brass well. The two hues are similar enough that they can be used in close proximity on the same miniature without creating a jarring visual effect. They can work together to create a sense of depth and balance on the model.
  • Mephiston Red: Mephiston Red is a bold, deep red color that can be used as an accent or a base color for the miniature. This can be a perfect color for details or to add a pop of color that draws the eye and draws attention to the metallic element painted with Runelord Brass. This color combo can be particularly effective when creating areas of shadow on the model.

White Scar is a pure white and will give the best contrast and effect to highlight the Runelord Brass. Retributor Armour is a natural complementary color to the Runelord brass and will give a balanced look. Mephiston Red is a good example of split-complementary colours, that are not directly opposite but still can give an exciting contrast.
