At the heart of this box are 10 Death Korps Troopers, forming the Battleline of the patrol. These infantrymen dig in, hold objectives, and die in droves if necessary to secure victory. They are mounted on 25mm round bases.
Command and support come from a six-model Command Squad, which provides leadership, orders, and special weapons. This squad fills the Character and Support role, acting as the linchpin for the rest of the force. Each member is supplied with a 25mm or 32mm round base, depending on the miniature.
For shock action, the box includes five Death Riders of Krieg, cavalry armed with lances and pistols. They serve as a Fast Attack unit, capable of flanking the enemy and breaking through weak spots in the line. Each rider comes on a 60mm oval base.
To bring heavier firepower, the patrol adds a Heavy Weapons Squad of four, which can be armed with mortars, autocannons, or lascannons. This unit takes the Heavy Support role, blasting enemy armour and entrenched infantry from afar. They are mounted on 40mm round bases.
It captures the grim, attritional playstyle of the Death Korps, combining disciplined infantry, stoic commanders, devastating artillery, and sudden cavalry charges.
Every part of the force can be doubled or expanded into a larger Krieg army, making it an excellent starting point for collectors.
