Prepare to be amazed by the incredible Flash Gitz! These Orks, known for their excessive wealth and larger-than-life personalities, stand out among their kind. As bold mercenaries, they roam the galaxy with their flamboyant gear, capturing attention and engaging in audacious acts of piracy. But don’t let their ostentatious display deceive you. When it comes to combat, a mob of Flash Gitz proves their mettle in skull-crushing prowess and sheer deadliness in firefights. Their unleashed firepower is nothing short of cataclysmic, leaving opponents trembling in their wake.

What’s in the Flash Gitz box

  • x161 plastic components, allowing you to assemble 5 mighty Flash Gitz that you can quip to the brim with flashy snazzguns. One Flash Git can be put together to form a Kaptin, complete with bionic arm holding a cutlass and gitfinda squig. Eight back banners, eleven heads, and explosives are just a few of the possible additions you may add to your Flash Gitz to make it your own.
  • x5 Citadel 40mm Round Bases.

How to paint the Flash Gitz set

  1. Step 1: Prime the Miniature
Apply a thin layer of Chaos Black primer to the entire Flash Gitz model. This provides a good base for the paint to adhere to and ensures better color coverage.
  2. Step 2: Base Coat the Armor
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a base coat of your chosen main color to the armor parts of the model. For example, you can use Waaagh! Flesh to achieve a vibrant green color for the Ork skin. Apply the paint evenly, covering all the armor areas.
  3. Step 3: Highlight the Skin
With a smaller brush, add highlights to the Ork skin by applying a lighter shade of green to the raised areas. This technique adds depth and brings out the details of the model. You can use a color like Warboss Green for this step.
  4. Step 4: Paint the Clothing and Accessories
Using different colors of your choice, paint the clothing, accessories, and other details on the model. Orks love vibrant colors, so feel free to experiment and use a variety of shades. For instance, you can use Mephiston Red for a bold cloth color, Balthasar Gold for metallic parts, and Averland Sunset for additional accents.
  5. Step 5: Add Weathering and Battle Damage
To give your Flash Gitz a weathered and battle-hardened appearance, use a small brush to apply touches of brown or black paint to simulate dirt, grime, or chipped paint. This adds realism and character to the models.
  6. Step 6: Paint the Weapons
Ork weapons are often adorned with loud and flashy colors. Use your brush to paint the weapons in vibrant hues, such as bright metallics or striking blues and reds. For example, you can use Runefang Steel for a shiny metal effect and Evil Sunz Scarlet for a bold red accent.
  7. Step 7: Apply Washes
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a wash of dark brown or black to the recessed areas of the model. This enhances the shadows and adds depth to the details. For example, you can use Agrax Earthshade for a subtle shading effect.
  8. Step 8: Varnish the Model
Once the paint is dry, apply a coat of varnish to protect the paintwork and add a matte or glossy finish, depending on your preference. This will help preserve the model’s appearance over time.
