In the shadows, Acolyte Hybrids revel in the magnificence bestowed upon them by their patron. Crooning and hissing, they wait for the opportune moment to shed their disguise and emerge into the sunlight, their grotesque faces contorting with subhuman delight.

A perfect blend of Genestealer speed and human cunning makes them a formidable force to be reckoned with. With volleys of pistol fire and razor-sharp claws, they unleash chaos upon their enemies, all while praising their masters in a chilling chorus.

This extraordinary multi-part plastic kit offers you the chance to assemble 5 Acolyte Hybrids, each equipped with an array of deadly weaponry. Autopistols, close combat weapons, blasting charges, and rending claws are at their disposal, ready to strike fear into their foes.

Among their arsenal, you’ll also find hand flamers, a heavy rock saw, a heavy rock drill (complete with a backpack), and a heavy rock cutter.

And that’s not all – you have the option to make one of these Acolyte Hybrids an inspiring Acolyte Leader. The leader can don one of two special heads and wield a fearsome bonesword and lashwhip.

Unleash the power of the Acolyte Hybrids upon the battlefield and witness the sheer terror they invoke in their enemies. With their otherworldly abilities and monstrous appearance, they are an essential addition to any Genestealer Cults army.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting your journey into the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, these Acolyte Hybrids will prove to be a worthy and thrilling addition to your forces.

How to paint the Acolyte Hybrids set

  1. Step 1: Prime the Models
Begin by priming your Acolyte Hybrids with a spray-on primer in your preferred color. This step provides a smooth surface for the paint to adhere to and helps bring out the details of the miniatures.
  2. Step 2: Base Coat the Skin
Begin by painting the exposed skin areas of the Acolyte Hybrids with Daemonette Hide. Apply thin and even layers to ensure a smooth and consistent base.
  3. Step 3: Shade the Skin
Use Druchii Violet to add shading to the skin. Apply the shade carefully to the recessed areas and creases of the muscles, allowing it to settle naturally and create realistic shadows.
  4. Step 4: Layer the Skin
Now, use Warpfiend Grey for layering the skin. Focus on the raised areas and contours, adding highlights to enhance the skin’s texture and depth.
  5. Step 5: Base Coat the Clothing
Paint the clothing of the Acolyte Hybrids with your chosen color. For example, you can use Stegadon Scale Green for a blue-green look or Mephiston Red for a striking red attire.
  6. Step 6: Shade the Clothing
Add depth to the clothing by applying a shade paint that complements the base color. Use Agrax Earthshade for brownish tones or Drakenhof Nightshade for bluish tones.
  7. Step 7: Highlight the Clothing
Highlight the edges and raised areas of the clothing with a lighter version of the base color. For instance, if you used Stegadon Scale Green, highlight with Sotek Green.
  8. Step 8: Paint the Weapons
Choose the appropriate color for the weapons. For a menacing look, use a black paint like Abaddon Black for blades or gun barrels. For metallic parts, use Leadbelcher or another metallic paint.
  9. Step 9: Add Details
Use various colors like brown, orange, white, or metallic paints to add details to the miniatures. For example, you can use Balthasar Gold for belt buckles or Rhinox Hide for leather pouches.
