The Shokkjump Dragsta is a revered creation of the Mekaniak’s craft, embodying the perfect fusion of high-speed Ork vehicles and unhinged weaponry. It has earned its reputation as a favorite among the Mekboyz of the Kult of Speed.

Beware, for the Shokkjump Dragsta strikes fear into the hearts of its opponents. Armed with lethal sawblades, powerful rokkits, and a devastating kustom shokk rifle, it possesses the capability to shred enemies to pieces from any distance. Its unpredictable teleportation ability adds to its allure, making it a formidable force that is challenging to anticipate or evade.

  • x1 Citadel 150mm Oval Base.

How to paint the Shokkjump Dragsta set

  1. Step 1: Basecoat
Start by applying a basecoat of a vibrant red paint, such as Mephiston Red, to the body of the Shokkjump Dragsta, creating a striking foundation.
  2. Step 2: Metallic Components
Paint the metal parts of the vehicle, including the sawblades and rokkits, with a metallic silver shade like Leadbelcher, giving them a realistic metallic appearance.
  3. Step 3: Metallic Shading
Use a darker metallic shade, such as Iron Warriors, to add depth and shading to the silver parts, emphasizing the mechanical details.
  4. Step 4: Wash
Apply a wash of Agrax Earthshade to the entire model, focusing on the recesses and crevices, to enhance definition and create shadows.
  5. Step 5: Bright Cockpit Color
Paint the cockpit area with a contrasting color, like a bright yellow such as Flash Gitz Yellow, making it stand out from the rest of the vehicle.
  6. Step 6: Highlighting with Lighter Red
Use a lighter red, such as Evil Sunz Scarlet, to highlight the edges and raised areas of the red body, adding dimension and depth.
  7. Step 7: Weathering Effects
Create weathering effects by using a sponge or stippling brush to dab on a mix of brown and orange paints, simulating rust and wear on the vehicle’s surface. Some good paints for this step are Typhus Corrosion and Ryza Rust.
  8. Step 8: Detailing with Various Colors
Paint the details, such as glyphs and symbols, using various colors like White Scar, Abaddon Black, and Yriel Yellow, making them stand out against the red body.
  9. Step 9: Glossy Varnish
Apply a glossy varnish to areas like the cockpit and metal parts, giving them a shiny and reflective appearance.
  10. Step 10: Final Touches
Complete the model by adding any additional details, such as weathering powders or decals, to further enhance the realism and character of your Shokkjump Dragsta.
