Introducing the Eightbound, fearsome Heretic Astartes infused with the essence of eight Khornate daemons, transforming them into monstrous beings far beyond recognition. These twisted warriors possess unparalleled strength and ferocity, surpassing even their fellow World Eaters. Armed with colossal chain weapons, a pack of Eightbound is a force capable of obliterating any adversary foolish enough to stand in their way.

This multipart plastic kit enables you to assemble three Eightbounds, formidable demi-daemons for your Warhammer 40k Chaos Armies. These hulking warriors bear an uncanny resemblance to grotesque, augmented Khorne Berzerkers, with exposed muscles, cybernetics, and intricate, contorted armor.

Eightbound1
Eightbound Model

Each Eightbound wields a pair of eviscerators, massive chain weapons reminiscent of chainswords or chainaxes. Additionally, you have the option to construct an Eightbound Champion armed with cleaver-like lacerators or a formidable two-handed heavy chainglaive.

The kit also provides an array of interchangeable and cosmetic components, offering versatility and customization. Choose from alternate heads, diverse chest plate designs, shoulder pads, and power packs. Embrace further mutations or opt for bare torsos to create unique variations among your Eightbound. With this abundance of options, you can not only make each Eightbound pack distinct but also enrich your bits box with additional parts.

Also, with this kit you can alternatively build 3 Exalted Eightbounds, an even more heavily-mutated squad of World Eaters.

What’s in the Eightbound box

  • x88 plastic components that make 3 Eightbound Models.
  • x3 Citadel 40mm Round Bases
  • x1 World Eaters Transfer Sheet

How to paint the Eightbound set

  1. Step 1: Prime the model
Apply a thin, even coat of primer to ensure better paint adhesion.
  2. Step 2: Skin Basecoat
Start by applying a base coat of a pale flesh color to the exposed skin areas of the Eightbound, such as the face, arms, and legs. For example, you can use Pallid Wych Flesh or a similar light flesh tone.
  3. Step 3: Armor Basecoat
Paint the armor plates and chains with a metallic or a red color, such as Leadbelcher or Khorne Red. Feel free to experiment with other shades!
  4. Step 4: Wash
Apply a wash, like Agrax Earthshade or a similar shade, to the entire model to add depth and shadow to the recessed areas.
  5. Step 5: Highlight the flesh
Use a lighter flesh tone, such as Kislev Flesh or a similar shade, to carefully highlight the raised areas of the skin, like the muscles and prominent features.
  6. Step 6: Detailing
Paint the details like the eyes, teeth, and weapons using appropriate colors. For example, you can use Abaddon Black for the eyes and Stormhost Silver or Retributor Armour for the weapon blades.
  7. Step 7: Blood effects
Add blood effects to the weapon blades or wounds using Blood For The Blood God. If you have a brighter red (than the one you used on the armor, if you did) laying around you can use that too. Apply it sparingly for a realistic look.
  8. Step 8: Base
Finish by painting the base to complement the model. You can use various techniques like dry brushing, applying texture paint, or adding tufts of grass for a finished look.
