How to paint the Khorne Berzerkers set

1. Step 1: Basecoat the miniature
   Apply a basecoat of Chaos Black to the entire Khorne Berzerker model, ensuring smooth and even coverage.
2. Step 2: Apply base colors
   Use appropriate colors to paint the different parts of the model. For the red armor, use Mephiston Red; for the skin, use Bugman’s Glow; for the gold details, use Retributor Armor; and for the metallic parts, use Leadbelcher.
3. Step 3: Highlight the details
   Use a lighter shade of each base color to highlight the raised areas and edges. For example, highlight the red armor with Evil Sunz Scarlet, the skin with Cadian Fleshtone, the gold details with Liberator Gold, and the metallic parts with Ironbreaker.
4. Step 4: Paint the weapons and accessories
   Use appropriate colors to paint the weapons and accessories. For the chainblades, use Abaddon Black for the blades and Ironbreaker for the chain links. For the bolt pistol, use Abaddon Black for the main body and Retributor Armor for the casing. Add additional colors as desired for purity seals, icons, and other details.
5. Step 5: Apply wash
   Use a wash, such as Agrax Earthshade, to add depth and shading to the model. Apply it selectively to the recesses and crevices, allowing it to flow naturally and enhance the details.
6. Step 6: Highlight the model
   Use lighter shades of the base colors to add final highlights to the model, focusing on the edges and raised areas. This will add further dimension and make the details pop. For example, highlight the red armor with Wild Rider Red, the skin with Kislev Flesh, the gold details with Stormhost Silver, and the metallic parts with Runefang Steel.
7. Step 7: Paint the base
   Paint the base with appropriate colors to represent the environment or theme of your choice. For example, you could paint it as rocky terrain using colors like Mechanicus Standard Grey and Dawnstone, or as a blood-soaked battleground with a mix of colors like Mephiston Red and Stirland Mud.
8. Step 8: Apply final touches
   Add any additional details, such as freehand designs, squad markings, or weathering effects, to further enhance the model. Use a fine brush and steady hand to add these touches.
9. Step 9: Varnish the model
   Once the paint is completely dry, apply a layer of varnish to protect the paint job and give it a finished look. Use a matte varnish for a more realistic appearance or a gloss varnish for a more vibrant and shiny finish.
