The Eightbound are fearsome warriors of the World Eaters, infused with the power of eight Khornate daemons locked in a relentless struggle for dominance within their possessed bodies. However, some among their ranks achieve a remarkable apotheosis, as their mortal souls conquer and merge with the daemonic entities that dwell within them. Through this union, they undergo profound mutations, transcending the internal competition and attaining a purer and more focused rage that is directed solely at their enemies.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to assemble three Exalted Eightbound, monstrous and twisted fiends that serve the World Eaters. These daemonic warriors bear a grotesque resemblance to the Khorne Berzerkers, boasting bulging muscles and warped biomechanical armor. Each Exalted Eightbound wields a grinding chainfist seamlessly fused to their body, while wielding a massive eviscerator chain weapon in their other hand.
Additionally, you have the option to build an Eightbound Champion armed with a pair of mutated chainfists or a formidable two-handed heavy chainglaive.

Embracing customization, this kit provides an abundance of interchangeable and cosmetic components. You can choose from optional spikes, various designs for chest plates, shoulder pads, and power packs, as well as the ability to mix in less mutated parts. Furthermore, you can build your Exalted Eightbound with bare torsos, adding further individuality to each model. With such versatility, every Exalted Eightbound pack can be truly unique, providing you with surplus bits to enrich your collection.

What’s in the Exalted Eightbound box

  • x88 plastic components that make 3 Exalted Eightbound mutated warriors. Alternatively, this kit can be used to assemble a squad of 3 Eightbounds, representing a less mutated form of daemonic World Eaters.
  • x3 Citadel 40mm Round Bases
  • x1 World Eaters Transfer Sheet, with 200 transfers featuring Khornate symbols, runic tattoos, eight-pointed stars, skulls, and variations on the World Eaters Legion icon.

How to paint the Exalted Eightbound set

  1. Step 1: Prime the model
Apply Chaos Black or any primer of your choice to the miniatures, ensuring all surfaces are covered evenly. This is going to make the miniatures easier to paint on, but it’s not necessary.
  2. Step 2: Basecoat the model
Use a red paint, such as Mephiston Red, to cover the majority of the model’s armor. Now for the skin, you can apply a layer of Cadian Fleshtone or Bestigor Flesh. Check out our collection of Flesh paints and find what suits you best!
  3. Step 3: Highlight the edges
With a brighter red, like Evil Sunz Scarlet, carefully paint along the edges of the model’s armor and other raised details to create definition and depth.
  4. Step 4: Add shading
Apply a wash of a dark shade, such as Carroburg Crimson, to the recessed areas and crevices of the model to create shadows and enhance the overall appearance.
  5. Step 5: Focus on the face
Paint the face with a pale flesh tone, like Kislev Flesh, and carefully add details such as eyes and teeth. Use a light wash, such as Reikland Fleshshade, to add depth and realism.
  6. Step 6: Work on the weapons
Paint the weapons with a metallic paint, such as Leadbelcher, and add additional details and highlights using other metallic shades like Ironbreaker or Runefang Steel.
  7. Step 7: Add additional details
Use various colors to paint any additional details on the model, such as gems, cloth, or decorative elements. For example, you can use a Warpstone Glow for the gems, Doombull Brown for the leather, Retributor Armour for other metallic details and Ushabti Bone for the skulls.
  8. Step 8: Finishing touches
Apply a matte varnish, like Stormshield, to protect the paint job and give the model a uniform finish. Optionally, you can add any desired basing materials, such as sand or grass, to the model’s base to enhance its overall presentation.
